sounds a little like me - i was first introduced to skiing when I was about 37, long weekend in austria without the kids, snowed alot and a friend asked if I would like to try. I motto is nothing ventured nothing gained, he who dares wins rodney!!!! anyway I loved it and been going every year now for 5/6 years. Hope you have a good time. This year did a girly holiday with friends who'd only skiied top resorts in France (ski snobs!). I was a little worried but they said had best hol ever! We stayed at Ice Angels, they said better than any affordable accomodation in Europe.

Guess what we're all back in March!
