Mattski - I know! Did try and warn people how bad the snow was on the Rila side... Feel really sorry for people who have just come out for a week. Only positive is that because it's Christmas, most people are still pretty happy!

I was out there for new year '09. The snow was fine, but i left on the @nd January. Snow came in the. Do you reckon it could be a similar scenario? Any chance of it looking up? Surely its ok at the top of the mountain!?

I'm sure myborovets will agree with me, but no it's not great at the top of the mountain either...sorry! Markujike slopes have been closed all week due to poor snow. Yesterday, although the gondola was closed to the top all day, most people took taxis up to the Yastrebets (4 man chair). It was great up there due to the snow cannons, but today the 4 man chair is closed as well as the gonodola due to high winds.

I am going tommorow and I guess I will be depressed since snow is in very bad condition, there will be no snow until 28 :S

I know for the next time not to go in Borovets but Val Thorens or something else since going i Bulgaria is a bet...
