Been in TK Maxx today, they have some really good ski gear in even now, and its good value especially considering the quality, don't forget the googles you might not need them, but if you do they are alot cheaper in TKmaxx (£12-20)than in resort.re: Borovets and skiing for the first time
Decathlon is worth a look too, I started skiing at 47 yrs old 4 yrs ago, youll love it im sure, just thought MandM sports (online) have some cheap ski pants etc.

I went on my own last year in March - a little scary but it was go on my own or don't go at all. I met a fantastic bunch of people. I hope you have a fab time Steve.CAZ

Exactly the same as you Caz. As I'm a singleton at the moment and most of my mates don't fancy trying it, I thought what the hell !! Give it a go boy and you just never know....PS - Ski Pants - Braces or not ??????????
