Hi Joyce we are going from manchester 4th March to Rila as well.i have skiied 5 times but hated it every time.Husband and two daughters aged 12 and 10 love it though c u there

That'll be great Liz. Lots of us going including my partner, my daughter & 2 grandchildren 10 & 5. My partner is a good skier. I wish I could get on with it but it is soo hard, plus I hate heights. 14 of us in total going 7 adults & 7 children. All but 2 adults & 2 children at the Rila. (they're at the Samovov as the Rila was full) 3 adults have skied before, rest are all beginners, I'll try ski school again but I don't hold out much hope for me.

Samokov give kids ski helmets and are very saftey concious (as they all seem to be).

We're staying at the Rila, am I right in thinking that all the hotes use the same ski school?
