No probs with the questions. The Rila slopes and Yastrebets have good snow coverage due to the cannons - so basically, the 80cm of snow in Yastrebets is mainly artificial snow. There are others out here now that are updating on here, so check out their posts as well. Yesterday was excellent on yastrebets, today really icy which is said to be due to the volume of people pushing the soft snow (artificial) out of the way and leaving pure ice underneath.
I did say yesterday ...
Hi Charlie,

I did say yesterday that we don't know why the Marky slopes are shut. They 'look' really good as though there is enough snow, but the operators are saying there are not enough. Also, when I say look, that simply is looking over from the restauranst at the top, so it's really difficult to be factual as not been on them as if you go over there, you are stuck with the lifts not working and the Mussala Path unskiable - which is a very long walk!!
As a last point, all I am doing is typing up the information once I get a telephone call and am by no means an expert. My other half has worked in Boro though for 25 seasons and would certainly not want to put people off by giving a false report as all the locals are struggling this season....
If you have any more questions, just shout!
The piste machines move it around as well as the snow cannons, from what i read of the reports from Kas and others things seem preety good in Boro just now. Dont worry about it and just go and enjoy.
