Borovets...anything to avoid?

Hi guys

Long time lurker, first time poster here!

I really appreciate the information on the weather and most of the dos...but I need some help with possible don'ts please.

I am arriving on Saturday with a bunch of 5 respectful lads in their 30s. We are all good guys but we are looking forward to partying as much as the skiing!

Are there any bars/clubs where we should avoid? Ones that are known for trouble and/or scams?

Also, what places are open after 2am? ...

Are there any bars/clubs where we should avoid? Ones that are known for trouble and/or scams?

Also, what places are open after 2am? Everywhere?!

Many thanks for your help, you can thank my breakdancing to the snow gods by the way Wink

All bars open until the last man leaves. Stay away from Playboy club next door to Rila. There are loads of Ladies of the Night, great looking but be careful.Buzz Bar for a nightclub, Wight Magic for a bar.

re: Borovets...anything to avoid?

Hi Stupido,
Apart from Bobbys Bar I would recommend Frankos for a great late night bar and 'bit of a dance'. ( If and when that closes 3am ish )and you get chucked out then at last resort Buzz Bar is prob only place ( apart from titty bars) that is open v late. Not had probs there myself but I have heard of problems with pick pockets and scams with phones! Keep your wits about and you'll be all fine.
Enjoy you time in Boro. You'll love it I'm sureSmile))

re: Borovets...anything to avoid?

Paul - thanks for your candid reply! Why avoid the Playboy Bar? Are all the "similar" bars ok in your opinion?
