Borovets...anything to avoid?

borovets is a friendly place,but bulgaria is a poor country and does attract the odd thief/mugger, the locals tend to spot them and encourage them to move on.my basic advise would be 1]dont take anything you cant afford to lose[my £10 phone stolen in rila nightclub].2]dont go out drinking late at night on your own.3] dont ski/board empty runs on your own without telling someone your planned route.[my 14yr old son was mugged for his snowboard]4]dont rely on the police [my wife lost 2 half ...
