Borovets

I'm travelling to Borovets on 27th December and there are a huge amount of negative comments! Is it really that bad?!?!?!

No... Go with an open mind with no pre-conceptions....
Its looking really good at the moment as i was there yesterday....
Nip into `Franco's' and see Ari and Aimee, upstairs.... check out the decor, its errrrrrrrr very pink Looks great though....

Everyone seems to be saying it's awful and there is no snow!!! I don't tend to read reviews as people just like to complain about everything!

I agree with Steve. It's looking great at the mo and with the snow cannons working 24-7 you'll be absolutely fine in terms of snow. In terms of bars, also try out Titanic (my favourite bar), plus Katy's is great for Steaks. Mamacitias is also worth a look in as is Black Tiger - I'm sure others have their own favourites as well. Everyone is really friendly and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Thanks for the info. It's nice to hear that people have positive things to say! I do agree that forums are worthwhile, but get the impression that a lot of people just like to complain about everything. Look forward to seeing all the other people arriving at Borovets on the 27th!

Spoke with the slim young lad who stands outside Titanic yesterday, he used to work at the `Buzz'... assured him tourists were coming... he was getting concerned

Flying out Boxing Day for a week - does anyone have any good recommendations for where to spend New Years Eve?? Can't wait now, just hope there's enough snow............x
