We have just come from a slope side bar and could see the Cannons working on the Yastrabets slopes.

Dont want to be bearer of bad news, since we arrived (9th) there has only been the two reds which have cannons open (mostly working all the time as they are higher up so get colder temps) and the two slopes in front of the Rila (cannons not currently on). We are forcast a bit more snow later in the week, so hopefully more will open up then.
Skiing was OK today on the two in front of the RIla, queues for the two drags though, but at least something little to ski on. Making the most of it ...

People are great out here had a great eve last night, you just have to come and make the most of it - its a holiday anyway, beats work for sure.

Just spoke to ski instructor out in Borovets. Supposedly temparature should drop after Wednesday and then they get 'their winter'. Unfortunaely I was there New Year and so missed any good snow, but good luck to you guys going out late Jan/Feb.re: Borovets
I am like jean cant turn this bloody forum off! We are due in Boro on 23rd Jan. Will enjoy ourselves regardless but would be nice to get some skiing inre: Borovets
wish we were going on 23temps are falling each week and snow IS on the way but I reckon you will have more chance of seeing it near to 23rd
