Hello im going to borovets on the 23rd jan, for the first time, dont know what to expect realy have heard the snow isnt great. We are a group of four males 18-28years(snowboarders).

Whats the likelihood of having decent snow in 1st week of March?

You want us to make a forecast 2 months ahead? From experience, its a difficult time to predict - Feb is usually very dry so as long as there has been a good early dump then its still around. However, if spring comes early then there is always the chance of a nice heavy fall. Its usually good up high.

We are flying tommorrow morning and also hoping for snow! My fella rekons im obsessed with this site too, i keep logging on hopeing for someone to say its snowing!!!!!!

Yes rigs I am definately up for that. Will have to work out what time will be but prob gonna be 21.00. May update this as currently at work and not home till 2moro night. Yay to mobile internet. Not that I am hooked to this forum. Lol

@ Steve W - i was in Borovets 3 years ago first week in March - it didnt snow and was sunny all week for us.
The snow conditions were good up top and midwayish - patchy on the Musala pathway and was becoming slushy at bottom of resturants/Rila hotel.
