Was there last week, really enjoyed it.. Samokov food could have been better, but I didnt care, it was food, it was edible and it was tasty, that`ll do me.
As for the rooms, a 4* in Bulgaria is possibly a 2 star in the UK, live with it, deal with it......enjoy if for what it is, I did.....
First time skiier, the instructor in the hotel samokov we had was superb, she made sure we all had a good time and gave us all great instruction....the instructors in the samokov are supeb.

As for the guy who bit into a sausage and threw it back, you cant blame the hotel for that, in fact Henry, I hope you had a go at him, if you didnt then WHY NOT....He should have been kicked out of the restaurant black and blue the ignorant t@sser.....
Dont blame the hotel for what a customer is doing.....The restaurant is a nice big place with so much choice at breakfast and evening meal, I was just spoilt for choice.....
The skiin was great, the snow was good......
And I didnt get food poisoning either........

Then you should īve gone to a really 5'star hotel,not to Samokov,which is BASIC,man.In Bulgaria you can find luxurious hotels,too.I guess you didnīt pick the right hotel,thatīs all.If you had gone to a family-run small hotel,you'd have been treated like a God.But you went for the cheaper and less convenient version.It's your own fault.
