re: Bulgarian cuisine!!

I agree with Kiwi1. Bulgarian food is different, and may not be to your taste but that doesn't mean the ingredients aren't good quality. If you're hungry enough I.m sure you'll enjoy it anyway

Went B&B in Bansko, and the food in the restaurants was far better than we have had in the hotels in previous years. Mal

re: Bulgarian cuisine!!

I had a traditional Bulgarian sausage and was ill and drained of all energy for a whole day (rubbish). avoid any sausages near the Gondola. Look great but will get ya into a spot of bother a couple of days later.

My my who rattled your cage Lenny!!? I am well travelled and far from ignorant. I will try anyting once and am far from a fussy eater, it was a simple enquiry to check if the things we have been told about the food are true, since they have been mostly negative comments. Also there is a veggie in our party and thought would check out the situation for him.
Sorry if that offends you in some way!

Hi Teresa,

Don't think Lenny was having a go at you. Infact your question was a good one, but rather the people that were implying that food in BG consists of potatoes.
veggies will be fine with loads of options. A lot of fresh vegitables and many very nice cheese dishes.
