Multinationals dont get me started.
All things in a black economy are linked, counterfit goods, prostitution, drugs, guns, people trafficing. Money from one will fuel another in Bulgaria this seems to be a big problem. Fake goods are sold in the hotel shops and last year the main developor of Borovets was executed. Some believe thats why the resort is unable to develope some of the lifts.
So many whores working in the Rila all under the watchful eye of security.

There are some good shops in Borovets ask the instructors to point you to the good ones or go into Franco's pizza and ask Tommy.

Hi Clare

Thanks for the tips!

We're staying in the Rila - should be a really good laugh - can't wait. Though won't be skiing because i've not recovered from my broken ankle. Will have to focus on the apres ski instead - oh well. Booze

See you out there
