Dont think thats what Simon & Julia meant at all Daniel. They were merely seeking help and advice from other skiers who have visited Canada (myself included). After all, this is how people learn about places other than Bulgaria and learn the truth rather than reading it from a "paid for" guide book or glossy magazine article.
The Caribou Lodge is fab - the food is wonderful and plentiful and cheap and the roaring log fires in the lobby are very welcoming. You should have a great time.
If you want to be independant check out www.flyzoom.com They have some great prices for airfares to Calgary and Vancouver (and Toronto but a bit flat for skiing!) Sites link in for accomodation. My mum flew to Toronto last febuary with them and was impressed ( and that's saying something!!!) Only cost £89 outbound and £119 inbound.Canadian Affair are the other cheap carrier but seem a little more expensive.
Hope you have a good time - wish I could afford it!!!
