Don't worry about kids on ski lifts. We take school trips and lift attendants will always help you get on and off. they may even stop the lift to assist. Have brought injured parties down on lift where lift assistant helped on and phones down to other end to tell them you're coming and help off. Hope this helps
There's a road up to the mid-station. Bus or taxi? Would save you a lot of time. The buses go up there on Wed (I think) for the ski instructor show. Have a look at www.skischoolsteve.com for instructors. They're located at the mid-station and I can personally recommend Stoian and Rumy. Both great craic and great instructors with excellent English. I'm sure the others are great as well but I know from experience how much I got from them)
Our youngest son was 6 when we first took him to Pamps. He sat on my husband's knee on the single chair lift from Malina for that week but we weren't wearing skis as we picked them up at the middle station. The other option is the 4 man lift from ski station 1 . The lift ride is shorter and the bus will drop you off there. As Dot says, the lift attendants are always very helpful.
Its easy to book private ski lessons- we were with a family with a 5 year old who got fed up with kindergarten, after 2 mornings she was going down a green run. Didnt seem to be to difficult- the mum just went into the ski school and asked!!- best holiday weve had ever!
Hi
Try Ski Elite, they're situated adjacent to the main ski shed at the bottom of the mountain. Excellent tuition especially for children. Contact is Ciro. You'll not be disappointed. Good luck.
from my experience as a skier when i was five (first times learning) it was scary but i picked it up easier than my parents, don't wory too much about them.... they'll suprise you.
