re: Cheap Ski Wear

Yes Aldi had thermals and so do Tchibo. Don't worry too much if you can't get any suitable ones thouh. Mine didn't use them the first year and were fine. They used thick joggers - you know the VALUE ones you can get in Tescos fo about £2.50. On some days last year they only wore thermals and no joggers.

My daughter actually wanted the green ski jacket but that then left my son with nothing so persuaded her the red looked good!

Christine - sorry I forgot we had spoken before. The moon boots will be fine especially for a lass. If she wants to wear something different in the evening then trainers or walking boots are fine as well. Just make sure they have a flat sole and reasonable grip as the paths can get very slippery at night. I'd take both jacket and all in one as the coat will be better in the evening along with the sallopettes if necessary and you can take them off when in the restaurant/bar. Mine wear there ski stuff at night and then they can go bumboarding whilst we enjoy a few leisurley drinks!! Bliss!!

Aldi had a variety of gloves and a teenager would fit into a small adult anyway. If Aldi no good then try somewhere like Millets. By the way Aldi are now open on Sundays if that helps.

I'm glad that I have been able to help you both and hope you both have a great time with your families.

Enjoy
