Bulgaria Ski discussion board

This is not aimed at ANYBODY but it is about time people stopped expecting Canadian standards in Bulgaria.

I have just logged onto the first Canadian Ski website I could find and selected the first holiday it offered me.

7 days in Tremblant - Bed & Breakfast only, no lift pass, no gear, no tuition -- Prices from £765 pp. 8 hour flight.

By the time you add the cost of the pack it will be well over £1,000.

So by God it ought to be superior to Bulgaria. Then account for the cost of living over there, the prices for eating and drinking out and you are looking at one expensive holiday.

Bulgaria - same week half board all skiing requirements included under............... £400 and very cheap to eat and drink out.

I hate it when people don't enjoy themselves in Bulgaria because I wonder what I see that they don't, and would love everybody to come home with the same happy days attitude I always do, but unfortunately that will never be the case.

But if it is not to your liking, don't compare a Rolls Royce with a Mini because that's not fair to either resort.

I will not challenge opinions, nor will I delete them or chastise the posters, but I felt that some kind of reality needs to be considered when making comparisons.
