Fair commentHaving only spent £200 for last week in a catered chalet in Boro, I can't really complain (notwithstanding my earlier post under "Borovets" today) but people do need to be aware of the reality - unrealistic expectations lead to disappointment

You get what you pay for at the end of the day.
I had my first skiing holiday in Bulgaria last year, and despite my group having a run in with the local mafia (over a girl they wanted to take as their own for a cheap bottle of sparking plonk) we had an amazing time. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasently surprised. The tuition is absolutely brilliant, there were two out of or group in France the previous year, and they couldn't get over the differece. I reckon I'll be going back ...

Pete,Thats fair enough if we're comparing Canada and Bulgaria but i was comparing Borovets, Bansko and Pamporovo.
I've now been to all three and Pamporovo is by far the worst of the three, the queues and ski school last week were apalling. The resort cannot sustain that number of visitors without things getting much worse.
