Sorry to be negative and all, however,
I have been checking the weather reports like a lunatic for the past month and as far as I can tell it does not look like I will have any chance of snowboarding at all now should I stick with Borovets!
The webcam views are showing that the pistes are becoming more and more patchy everytime I look at them!
I know it's a week off work, but for me a total waste of my money if I cannot snowboard!
I am aware it is the same for everyone but feel now that ...

I am aware it is the same for everyone but feel now that I should just cut my losses and quickly book another resort! Any alternative suggestions would be helpful.
I am due to fly out on the 22nd.
My mate has just come back from Italy and had a scream.
Think I will try my booking company this afternoon, what a polava!!
Met-Check just indicates a uncharacteristic warm spell for Bulgaria.
Raised my spirits a little mate but the weather reports have been promising this for some time now mate (I know because I have been scanning these things for around 3 months) It just never comes true!
I know I seem like I am moaning but, this snowboarding thing is not something I can afford to do on a regular basis and its not something my missus will want to do again should it not happen. Not to mention the amount of money I have spent on kit for the three of us, which I ...
Cheers Rob,

Not to mention the amount of money I have spent on kit for the three of us, which I hasten to add will probably never be used!
Loads of people recommended Bulgaria, however, I was looking at France or Italy! I only now wish I had gone with my instincts.
All in all this looks like its going to be a £3000 walking holiday. Not happy, and quite frankly I feel cheated!
I am waiting for a ring back now mate, if they can I will because it doe not look good on the snow front and the temps seem to be going up and up! However, dont take my word for it, I am just not happy mate and feel its better to be safe than sorry!
If you can change your holiday through your travel agent for little or no fee, personally I would do it.
If you want to cancel, you will have to make sure your insurance will cover it & need a good relevant reason i.e. medical certificate from your doctor (probably for depression!!)

My wife, daughter & I were in Borovets last week & tbh we were extremely lucky (relatively speaking). It snowed on the Sunday night & all day Monday. It only amounted to about 6cm, but it was enough to change the weeks skiing conditions from very poor to just poor.
This was my 5th & last time in Bulgaria. The love affair has definitely ended I am afraid. Due to work & other conditions I am pretty much restricted to January to go skiing. In years gone by this was not an issue & the first holidays were great, but it most certainly is an issue now in Bulgaria!
The last 2 years have been a case of anxiety & disappointment. Even though Bulgaria is a "cheap" skiing holiday, £1500 for a week feeling stressed & quite frankly wishing for the end of the week to go home is no bargain!
Half the fun of a holiday is looking forward to it. Not stressing every day in the run up about how bad the snow is.
I am not putting the boot into Borovets / Bulgaria here, I will always like the people & have some good memories.
You should never say never, but I want a good chance of decent snow on my next skiing holiday, so I am afraid I will not be conscidering Bulgaria.
