Can anyone tell me if you see 'large people' on the slopes in Borovets. We
are a family going soon and my kids are worried that if I fall over it will start
an avalanche?
I'm not small and I attempt to ski and board. Why should the skinnys have all the fun, If we fall over the worst that happens is we bruise when skinnys go over they tend to break bones.
My son is 22+st and did great. He was not hassled by our instructor to get himself up, he just took his skis off and put them back on. I'm over weight and was constantly told I HAD to get up on my own.
I never got up the mountain as I was ill for a couple of days and couldn't join in again (very narked about coming home with only 1 day on the nursery slopes under my belt ) but I gather somebody always stopped to help someone in need.
We all ...
The answer to that is definately...YES

We all want to go back again next year and I hope to go to the snowdome to pick up on lost time.
oh if only we were as pefect and thin as you so obviously are Tommy.....
Chubby - go for it - you will have a whale of a time - and dont forget - if you see any thin people who appear to be thinking along the same lines as Tommy.... position yourself and aim for them......
