whats that all about? im a novice boarder and im going to Pamps in Jan. I have boots and the clothes, but I am going to hire a board out there.

Do I need to know? Would I even notice?

Yes Rob, be a fusspot evan with a hire board make sure it's waxed and edges either sharpened or certainly no burrs or damage to the edges. They can be a bit lazy in the hire shops.
