Having spent a fair amount of time in different parts of Bulgaria, also having our house out there and Bulgarian friends, BanskoBoy is quite correct with his argument. From much experience surrounded by bulgarians, it is usual to tip by rounding up to the nearest leva for taxi and meals. For those who are obviously just holiday makers this is probably hard to understand. Bulgarians are friendly, generous people who feel insulted if pittied! Try living out there and seeing the 'real' ...
