Duty free At Airport

It is not possible to buy big name cigarettes at sofia airport... they only sell them as duty un paid... gutted

Last time i was in borovets i took advice and bought fags locally, bought them cheap, sold here, almost paid for me holiday, as i dont smoke, does any one know what they cost now, and iv never beeen really sure what the legal limits are, especially now there in the eu, can any body help out with this info, although if there still as cheap as they were, ill probablly still take the risk.

Now they are in EU you there is no limit as long as you buy them in resort (Duty Paid) and they are for pesonel use... and yes they are still cheap

they were between £1 and £2 a pack.... you can still make money

But, the limit for bringing cigarettes into the u.k. from bulgaria is 200 per person.

thats what i said to the stupid bloke in the duty free shop... we were not allowed to buy them only brands i have never heard of.... every one was mad..

Just use the search button and go back a few days, you will see the Custom's allowances. ttony

i know the allowences.... there is confusion when travelling within the EU... for which these allowences do not apply... most duty free shops within the EU will sell you cigarettes duty paid at a discounted price, however Sofia is not doing this!!!

Allowances are:-

3200 fags
10L spirits
200 cigars
3Kg tobacco
90L wine
110L beer

They must be for personal use only and you'll get into trouble if customs find you selling them on (as if?!!)
