re: Exchange rate

Carlton,

Thanks for the thought! If anyone at the Rila from Saturday onwards sees a single mum and two kids looking a bit upset (perhaps not so upset Neutral) you'll know what has happened.

Perhaps I should 'stash the cash' her her bag, or the kids - or perhaps spread round the three of them. Mmmmm, look out for 'single' husband / father, mid thirties, overweight and on his back (not just on the slopes) Booze Booze Booze

Perish the thought! Mind you if you hear same bloke in departure lounge ...

Perish the thought! Mind you if you hear same bloke in departure lounge at Gatwick on Sat afternoon saying, "I'll just carry the Sterling, my dear." You'll know what is afoot Wink

re: Exchange rate

There is a limit on how much Lev you can take in but it works out at about a grand I think....anymore and their economy would collapse. I took travellers cheques last year and it was a mare. Couldn't change many up at a time and commission was loads. I'm just going to take Levs with me this time.

re: Exchange rate

Got some yesterday at Co-op Travel, had to order but only two days lead time. Not a brill rate 2.54 but I only bought enough to tide me over for the first day.

The travel agent told me we could take equivelent of £1900 in. She didn't mention anything about not being able to bring them home though, Pamps Pete said it was illegal.
