Sorry, another ranting snow post as the g/f is sick of hearing it and I need to vent my frustration.
Shed loads of snow forecasted for Bulgaria? Well, that is the case for Borovets with 35 cm over three days - but Pamps? Diddly squat.
I'm hacked off because:
a. This is an expensive holiday when you look at what £1000+ would have got summer sun wise
b. Pamps has got sod all and probably won't have when I go out on 3rd feb with the g/f
c. Insurance no doubt won't even pay out ...

it is snowing in chelpare, which is right beside it.as for the webcam, its right at the bottom, i wouldnt worry about it

Must be very frustarting. I'm luckily going to Bansko, but I'm sure the snow will come in the next week. Apparently severe snow warnings issued across whole of bulgaria, so hopefully all resorts will get a good dump next week.re: F* hacked off - pamps 3rd

calm down! snow is in pamps! and will be for next few days! check the webcam out 2mo morning! and remmber its at the bottom not near slopes so dont worry about it! u will be fine! going out on 10th and im chilled!

I've been trying to be optimistic since before Christmas, but have you seen how much is forecast? That will make sod all difference.6 cm in Pamporovo at the moment and that is higher up. What, another 15 cm forecast, if lucky? I appreciate the positive comments but as I go next Saturday I'm just sitting here hoping I break a leg or something and get off on insurance or holiday cancellation.

I know too, imagine how many first timers are going out and may never wish to return!There again a mate of mine spent an awfull lot more going to the Caribean on a Summer holl for his honeymoon, and it was a tropical storm all week!
The snow may yet arrive, at least enough to get some skiing done mate!
