it could be worse... we are flyin with BA next Friday if the sick-note cabin staff aint havin a bloody day of stikin.... i hope that they all get in growin toe nails...22 days sick... Big up BA Management... we all like a sicky ... by 22 days average... Angry aint the word 4 me...

I understand completely how frustrated you are... and my girlfriend can sympathise with your too - mines had an earfull of me. Many people post their best wishes and hope for the best which is great but the reality for me and many others in my situation is that I work very hard all year 6 days a week most weeks and 7 sometimes and this holiday is one for the small luxurys I can afford - Summer is usually a last minute cancellation to the sun or equivelant.

It is quite soul destroying not to have 2meter of snow to look forward to but after holiday in pamps last Jan and the Jan before that I can honestly that my fondest memories and best laughs came from the evenings out, chatting to my mates, meeting some fantastic people and enjoying a well earned week off work.
Yes, most likely the skiing/snowboarding condition won't be ideal but at the end of the day a holiday is what you make of it so like me try face into it with a positive attitude for you and your girlfriend's sake and make the absolute most of it. I'll be there with 7 mates from the 3rd and I'd be more than happy to hook up for a pint and moan about how bad the snow is
