If you're not already sorted, keep any eye on www.skyscanner.net - they are normally really good and you can play around with dates etc to get the best deals... You can also request an email alert when new flights are released...
I've done the usual and will be changing at Frankfurt which will probably be Munich by the time they finalise things. I'm happy same price at this year although missed out on one or two deals as didn't have our numbers confirmed.
Yes 2013 was a good year as the country was split with half having the first week and half having the second. Made it much easier to get different flights at better prices. 2014 does not seem to be the same. I have found there is a school in Scotland that has w/c 8th as their half term.
Mind you doesn't Scotland have different holidays anyway. They start Autumn term earlier I thought due to the darker evening etc so assumed different 1/2 terms

re: February 2014 flights to Bulgaria help please
We still had a lot of children here from the UK for the last week of February and that certainly is not half term.
We heard parents saying it is cheaper to pay the fine for taking the children out of school than pay the extortionate flight prices at half term.
OK not that it is relevant to half term but you can book a flight here from UK at the moment for 31.99 Pounds.
absolutely Gerry, i'm with you there. My problem is that Ann-Marie whilst not actually a teacher works at a school and is not allowed holidays outside of the school holidays. I'd have no problem taking Dan out for a week but now that she likes to ski, A-M wants to come.
no 2013 was great as the country seemed to be split in 2 so half term was spread across 2 weeks. Doesn't seem to be quite the same for 2014 - only a very few places have different weeks to the norm (which is w/c 15th Feb)
