Hi All
Partner and I are going out to Borovets on Sunday for our first time ever skiing - been reading lots of this forum, which I have to say has been a life saver! - sounds like we're in for a real treat and getting very excited for the experience.
Thank you very much for your great advice and laughs I've read - has made our planning for this trip so much more easier.

Hi Kakabe sure to pop into Bobbys Bar, we arrived on 18th and are staying in the hotel above Bobbys so will be in there Friday and Saturday evening if you fancy joining us for a drink.

HiWe're staying in the Iglika Palace - hoping it's a nice place to rest after what I am sure will be a hard day skiing
That would be great Nade & Jon - we will definitely be treating ourselves to a beer at the weekend before we leave

Hi Kaka,Welcome, go to Bobbys Bar during the week say hello, and I am sure you wont be disappointed, there are lots of board members out next week.
Only one beer, I thought you were scottish ??

will do - heard great things about Bobbys Bar; hope to go there straight after we drop our stuff off in hotel on Sunday.I say a beer - but I have a strong feeling it may turn into a 'last person kicked out bar' beer!

The Iglika is good, the food isn't always piping hot but there is a microwave at the end of the counter if you want to warm it up.The coffee and orange juice in a morning are horrible so prob best to avoid these.
The bar is great and have happy hour every night, i think a beer was 5 lev last year.
The rooms were basic but clean, we have rebooked for this year and no one moaned when i said we were going back to the iglika.

Hi Chris,We're staying at the Iglika from 27th? Have you got any tips apart from the microwave. We're hoping to get a room with a bath as we have 2 children with us. Any tips on that one? Also is the pool freezing?

sounds good - TBH we dont ask for much in terms of hotels, food etc; as long as we get to sleep and have a wee munch then we're happycheers for the tips - will def check out the bar
