I would think what you have suggested is fine or try talking to your rep in resort you may find he/she says "ask your ski instructor" and they may well allow you and your daughter to ski in the same beginners class . Also you never know the ski kindergarten may of improved because I would suspect there have been alot of complaints. Hope this is helpful. Is your husband hoping to join a more advanced ski group. I did last year went twice and had a fab time.

We haven't booked anything for my husband as we were going to see how my daughter got on. Would he be able to book a private lesson out there? Are they expensive?

I may be wrong but if you approach Borosport you may pay through the nose. Everything connected with them (I found) had very inflated fees and it will not be reflected in how much they pay the ski instructor.
