This will be my first time to bulgaria (for me) if my group of 4 ish (definate numbers not decided yet) decide to go there. Where looking for the end of January. We have a group of lads ranging in skill, beginner to experianed.
What i'm wanting to know is, does anyone have any good info for holiday operators, ski, snowboard hire and wheres best to go, (Borovets,Bansko). I think it would be better if we went somewhere more for begginners and drinking(lol). This is due to the fact ...

re: First-timer

Hi Jonathon,
Me and my sister are going to borovets on 17th jan for a week. We're more beginner than advanced and have never been on a skiing hol before, we were told borovets is good for beginners.

The nightlife is also supposed to be good.

We booked with thomas cook and it was cheaper than we expected then we booked our passes and lessons online.

Hope this helps!!!

re: First-timer

I'd def suggest Borovets. Myself and a friend have been for the last 2 years. We went with Neilson who were great and the ski instructors thought they were a good company too.

Although we skiied we hooked up with some guys who were boarding and of different abilities, they all had a ball.

As for the night life, it was brill. Some thing for everyone!
