have had 2 private lessons with interski and they were brilliant. skis excellent and they really know their stuff. all the tourists in there seemed happy at end of day so would recommend. they run group lessons and i think the biggest size is 6. compared with 20 in some we saw today. can't compare really.re: First timers review of Pamps
Superb report on what must have been a horrifying experience. The fact that you could give such a well balanced objective account on the hotel etc does you great credit. My children all learned to ski in Pamporovo 5 years ago and are going back with me this weekend after having been other places with their schools in recent years. I found their instruction first class but the conditions that year were brilliant. There is nothing worse than trying to learn to ski on ice. It is a frightening, ...

I found their instruction first class but the conditions that year were brilliant. There is nothing worse than trying to learn to ski on ice. It is a frightening, off putting experience which is ten times harder than if there is good snow.
I think you were very unlucky with your instruction. 10 in a group should be the maximum.
Hope you do not let the experience put you off and that your boy makes a speedy recovery.

Excellent report, don't be put off the ski-ing thought, we went to Pamps last year as first timers on 10th March and conditions were absolutely fabulous. Going back on Sunday and pretty worried about conditions now.. When we went to get fitted last year it was like you said, size of boots and nothing else. I have since found out that my ski's should reach up to my nose roughly. The skis I was given to wear last year was at least 6" longer that my full height. Our instructor although ...
