Now back .
Had a fab holiday, the food at the Ela was good, in terms of Bulgarian Hotel standard. Not fancy but a reasonable choice and well cooked. Thanks for the advice. dbut and S.P.
The log fire has now been closed in behind glass safer, but not quite as cozy.

Stayed at the Bor - food Brill, but then upgraded to Ela - food bland.
I'm a veggie but was with "normal people" and the worst you could say was that our tastebuds were bored stiff by Wednesday! Your not going to starve but if you want something tasty I'd suggest eating out a couple of nights. Not too expensive if you like pizza - pizza restaurant right next to Ela is delicous.
