I've been to Boro 8 times, doing my 9th in a couple of weeks and this will be my 5th in the Iglika. As I have a family of 5, I find it very good value and the food we find is perfectly adequate especially for what we pay. The trick we found was to get to the restaurant early, as it opens. You will find that the choice is greater and the food warmer. You could of course book one of the Iglika chalets and save a few quid and eat out. Trust me, I satyed in the Kalina one year and that was bad food with little choice. Oh, never been ill once from the food in Boro

Stayed at Iglika last 4 yrs and food is OK, a couple of evenings it was great. We always go and see what’s on and if there’s nothing that takes our fancy we eat out. The crowne or Golden Horn (not sure which) do a giant Bulgarian Satch which is a big mixed grill on a cast iron sizzler plate with roasted veg for about 25lev (i think) which is about £10 its a real gut buster. Never been able to find a real steak though like you get back home. Walk in any place really and you wont get a really bad meal and best of all its cheap. Kebab stall on the corner opposite the Rila is a must at 2am

I'm really looking forward to getting out there and trying food at as many places as possible! I'm a huge food fan (although try to keep it down by keeping active when I can! haha) but will be trying all I can!

I have a quick question on behalf of one of my party members who's not a member on here, he's a REAL fussy eater, when he's home all he eats is take-aways and fast food! Really bad lifestyle! But he asked me if there's any of the common fast food places in Borovets (he means like McDonalds, KFC etc etc....) To be honest I hope there isn't as I want to try new things while I'm there, but he's pleading there is! haha Figured somone on here would know...
