Hi Pete, remember me? Skied with you and your group several years ago and last went to Pamps 3 years ago (can't face the 4 to 5 hour transfer from Sofia) and I haven't skied since! Like you spent many years skiing in Pamps, (first time in 1989) and been there around 40+ times as I used to go January & March. Still have fond memories of my times in Peters Bar drinking Atlantic rum!
Although I look at the site occasionally this is my first post for many years so its nice to see you ...

Of course I remember you Trev. The last I saw of you was at Gatwick airport where customs were taking about 4,000 fags
off of you. I seem to remember the only reason your missus let you go was if you brought her back a load of fags so I am
still wondering how the homecoming went. Enjoyed skiing with you Trev and hopefully you'll be up for it again next season.
Yeah don't remind me!... I bet the B*****d is still smoking them!.... But he missed the rolling tobacco I had stuffed in my Budgie Smugglers so the missus did get something.
Yes I'd be up for it next year, as long as the body could take it as I'll be hitting 60 (OMG where has the time gone!) my ski boots are still in Pamps, left them with Michael in ski centre 2, wonder if he still has them?
Great to see you back Pete, you were always good value with your entertaining, not too mention informative, posts on Pamps and Bulgaria skiing in general. Let's hope your return marks a renaissance of the board. I'm still a Pamps fan btw and go out every year - back out this coming March.
Nothing wrong with skiing at 60. It's so much easier to make the first lift of the day. It's the age of common sense. Couple of beers in the evening, early to bed and ski all day.
Trev - one of our group, Paul is 72. He still skis like a teenager and will be with us again this season.
He acts as an inspiration to us all and he is as keen as mustard to keep going until he drops.
Both Angie and me have finally given up smoking after 40 years of being on 40 a day. Not had one
in over 6 months now and don't miss them at all. Never thought I'd d say it but I'm through with smoking
for good and I will never go back !!
