haahaa -- not quite Mark but it's great to be back.
I'm off to Swindon in a mo but will be back online this evening with some ideas to lighten the board up and to
have some regular features that will hopefully encourage people to log on more frequently.
I have skied Pamporovo since all the newer features you mentioned were added, but the were all several years ago
rather than in the last 3.
We're still lurking PP. need to arrange another forum meet. My brother now runs the barge at honeystreet so perhaps we could do a dog walking get together in the spring.
Don't think we'll make it to Boro this year as we have 2 weeks Feb/March booked for Banff. It will be the first time in 8 years that we haven't made it to bulgaria
It really is great to see you back, Say hi to Angie an give hara a smooth for me.
Hope to catch up with you soon
I know what you mean 'Another Mark' - for ages I tried to keep Pamporovo chat going but was met with such little response I just sat back and watched the Borovets crew take over the board. As you said, PP pops his head up and suddenly out come the party poppers!
Pampi Apres Ski have a 90's night which I rather fancy this year (although would have preferred music from the 80's) but they are doing a great job on the social lift and apres ski front.
Glad to hear Pampi Apres Ski is doing well. We were talking to the owner and manager last year about their plans to make it the place to be, and not just for the night but when you come off the slopes. Will def pay it a visit. Anyone know how Daks is doing?
Daks is also doing well. It is better later into the evening, can be a bit quiet early on. When the pub crawl happens it is bouncing until well into the early hours.
Pampi apres ski is more central so also attracts the skiers. They were offering a shuttle service last year from by the White Dog up to the bar - to encourage apres skiers in.
Watching Radi behind the bar make cocktails, juggling bottles and serving staff is a sport in itself - i could watch him all night - he is a natural ...

We taught them a few 'panto' dances last year and all the staff joined in. I'm probably banned now
Missed you the last couple of years and I do have to admit to being a voyeur to the site as well (like looking, but not commenting as much as I used to)!!!
I think its a perfect time to 'get the site going again', there are lots of great people as usual regularly commentating on here. But the numbers are less so it can sometimes come across as a bit of a ''closed shop'', if you can understand what I mean.

Hey PP, the MAIN MAN is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With any site like this the more people joining in the conversations the better and we must also remember there are 3 main ski resorts (plus some smaller ones) in Bulgaria, each suiting different people. The Pomporovo and Bansko contingency have been very quiet (Steve and Wendy not included!).
Lets's all pull our fingers out and get back to the 'Good old Days'
Yay Pete's back
I was wondering what had happened to you.
Didn't ski last year and been to Boro for two years before that but booked for Pamps 21st of Feb so really excited
Well I've never been one for politics Pete and I too was on another site that you were on some time ago. I was then on both for a while but was on here for at least a year before you took your sabbatical. It's nice to see you back even if you do follow Cardiff.
Mark but known as Emja which does not stand for Emma
