re: Gloves

You have to remember to kepp your neck warm... seriously... all the blood going to your brain has to go through your neck so if it's cold (because of a wind shear at the neck) then your brain will think you're getting cold and redirect the blood from the extremities to the central core...

It is amazing the benefit a neck warmer can have.

I also use silk glove liners and the result is amazing.

Good luck Very Happy

re: Gloves

My necks toasty Rach - Got a couple of "Buffs" from Aldi - for £2/£3 quid and they are priceless. Recommend them to all as they can be worn loads of ways and keep you lovely and warm ( I got the ones that are half fleece). The only problems I have is my fingers -sometimes toes but not so much. Definitely getting silk liners this year.

re: Gloves

funny you say that about toes caz !! why are my toes freezing somedays then others warm, it is not because it is a colder day, indeed sometimes it just happens on the same day? same boots , same socks, I am at a loss.

re: Gloves

Dave that may well be because your boots get damp during the week because of your feet sweating. If you have your own get a boot drier skiwear4less are doing one for£15

re: Gloves

you can get gloves with 'heaters' in them, battery powered. Our kids have at times suffered cold hands, and we use hand warmers, and they really are good, if you check out ebay you can buy them really quite cheaply, and it will save on the cost of gloves. They last all day, i always carry some spares around with me. Booze

re: Gloves

Type in blazeware on google, they sell battery heated ski gloves, i have a pair and they do keep your hand warm, just turn them off when they have done their job to save power and they should last most of the day.
