Hi All,A small bit of news for you....They used to do Heli-skiing in Borovets about 15years ago and stopped.,. We are currently in negotiations to bring this back/run this and will know in 2 or 3 days if it's a goer....
Not massively exciting news but thought we'd let you know!!

I did get third place in the downhill intermediate race and one whole black run under my belt but I think the heli-skiing is a step too far for me!!! ha
I would have to be pushed out and then fall all the way down!!!

Ummm, in the air, Coxer.I think Manc Tom is organising something for the invasion so a helicopter fits into his master plan.

I thought they used to do it somewhere near the avalanche which would have meant it was a no go last year. That said Kas i'd be interested in principle

Was thinking more along the lines of a halofree fall, but a heli infill would be acceptable.

Info required... and likely they will drop to Little Mussala ? or maybe off the back of Mussala ? just getting home is the problem... still, great news

This is very exciting!!! I had heard Bansko were looking at it again from some company from Sofia...... all talk and no permissions granted.Know lots who may be very very interested in this STEVE C would love this good valentine pressie me thinks but he would have to have a guide he does tend to get lost sometimes

Wen, I don't think you can blame Steve, he is blameless as it only happens when Dave Canski is around. Remember skiing down the stairs in the pub, board plus Canski in the Glazne, lost for 8 hours in the wrong valley or maybe it is just a coincidence?
