"Look at the shadow" the man says... LOOK at the SHADOW....! enough to turn me into a gibbering wreck or "Benn Syndrome" as it's more formally known.

Seriously though, it's a good vid and confirms it's a nice quality cam for £100. Looking at a kite surfing board and someone has used an iPod arm band holder and velcro so perhaps wrapping around your upper arm would be a possibility?

It's also got a standard tripod mount so it might be possible to fashion something...

re: Helmet cams ?!?!

I hadn't even thought about a camera until this thread and now I've spent several hours trawling sites re the cams, watching vids etc...

Grrrrr Rosco P Coltrane! ;-)

Are some of the Brovets YouTube vids yours Robert? If so looks like you had good snow in Jan 2009 - makes we want to try boarding again!

Anyways, back to the cams. The Playsport is such a good price and good enough quality it's almost a no brainer but I simply can't get over the mounting arrangement. Trouble is that ...

When does your's arrive Robert? What do you plan to do about mounting it?

re: Helmet cams ?!?!

Was going to get it from ebay, but ended up going to a PC World and just bought it there ... was only around £8 more expensive.

It has a standard tripod mount, so I'm sure I can fashion something.

Yeah there are a few Borovets boarding vids of mine up on youtube ... head to http://bulgariaboarding.blogspot.com/2010/01/borovets-2006.html for a wee collection of them.
