re: Helmets

I would consider myself a good snowboarder after boarding for 16 years now. I had an accident in Pamporovo last year, following a good accident resulting in me suffering with a broken nose, twisted ankles and a swollen brain I would not ever go with out my skid lid!

I was a lucky one!!! Wink

re: Helmets

Me and the kids wore them this year- noticed quite a few with "Lids" on- daughter took a fall with a bang to the head- good job she had a helmet on!

Sorry to hear about your accident Aaron. Did you have your helmet on when you had your accident?

re: Helmets

ski helmet saved my wife yesterday when the safty bar on a 4 man lift came backdown on us as we were getting off.
without the helmet I dread to think of the damage it would have caused.

re: Helmets

Oh Suzanne, why didn't you buy a helmet with speakers, then you could still use your ipod

re: Helmets

There was one of those with headphones in for sale on ebay the other day! It was dirt cheap too as I know they can be quite expensive, I put a bid on but then asked if it was a male or female helemet, turned out I'd need to change gender to wear it so stopped bidding!
Yet to find one for men! Sad

re: Helmets

Rob, mine is an Arnette and most definately for men. It may be a boarding helmet but it will do the job for me. Also the earpieces come out so you don't have to have the speakers in all the time.
