Just come back from boro with my partner and 2 kids, and yes the snow was not the best, but the friendliness of everyone we met more than made up for it! As for comments to the constant tapping up for custom, don't go to turkey! We had a great time , was like going back forty years, if you want snow don't go in the middle of jan , go mid feb and should be better.
It's the weather at the end of the day , we went to Cuba 2 years ago in the hot season and it rained for 4 days, you just cannot gaurentee anything.
One last thing the more people that go to France the better it will be in boro
Don't mind paying for good food or drinks! But £4.50 for a fanta in Val tor is taking the mickey
Will be back next year as the kids loved the safety feel element of the place
Oh and the golden horn guys really made my birthday
