Lion Hotel is very nice and a good location - 5 mins to gondola across the natural slop
10 mins stroll down into town. It is right next door to our little place we have bought. ( next apartment block up the hill on the same side of the road called Bondis)

we stayed there last year too. excellent. that good we also went to borovets and finding a lion there we went and had a look and it is very similar so we're booked to go there in Feb.
my only complaint is that they seem to have the heating on full blast all of the time so take some shorts!
The bar is also one of the cheapest in town!.
