I'm wondering if anyone has stayed at Hotel Pamporovo (in Pamps) and if so what was it like? I'm reading mixed reviews and was wondering if anyone has had any experience (good or bad) at the hotel.
I'm heading out with my wife on January 20th and as my wife doesn't ski I'm concerned she'll have a rubbish time.

My wife dont ski either, so i go with my son, i have a feeling your wife will get bored during the day, there are a couple of excursions she could do, some monastry in rila mountains or day trip to Plovdiv, Bulagarias 2nd city. she could get a lift pass and take in the veiws from top of mountain( the lift will bring her back down). there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to do in the evening when your not skiing, the hotel has a swimming pool and spa/massage treatments, town is really ...

If she reads she could while away the days just relaxing around the hotel, hope this helps you. Brian
I stayed there a couple of years ago, its a nice nice hotel, infact one of the best in the resort, they have a good sized swimming pool, nice facilities for the lady treatments, massage, facials all that kind of thing but that obviously might have changed over the last couple of years. You can go on day trips to Plovdiv or Sofia. I mean resort wise, what she can do is limited if not wanting to hit the slopes. Its worth her going up to the slopes and you guys going up the tower for a meal etc ...
