I'm going to Hotel Rila in a weeks time for my first ever skiing holliday & this is only my second time abroad in my life, so I am extremely nervous . I decided to read some reviews on the net to put my mind at ease, but this has done exactly the opposite! I have heard of prostitutes, loud music all night, food poisoning to name a few. Can anyone put my mind at rest?! Has anyone had any good/bad experiences?
Hi Bex,
we have been there for many times and we are still alive. Dont be afraid, food is okay (no H5N1), you can drink the water from the pipe and the people are friendly.
The musik is as loud as in any holiday resort and the prostitutes... it is upto you.
regards from Berlin

the rila is lovely hotel right on the slopes of the resort, take a kettle if you like your coffee though and in you use the swimming pool with children it is deep be warned even the shallow end is deela dn the edge is slippery
just my spelling and grammar that needs improving, thats embarressing.
the prossies are quite lively and have good storys to tell if you actually take the time to talk to them
ok some are friendlier than others but i had a amusing decent chat while at the bar in the rila
Bex,
Relax, you will enjoy the Rila, its a lovely hotel right in the centre of the resort, I stayed there last year, the room was fine, cant remember being able to hear music from our room and certainly didnt loose any sleep due to it.The food is fine , buffet style plenty of choice, if your not happy with the hotel food there are soo many places you can try out in the resort and they are all at a good price roughly £10 for average 2 course meal with a few drinks.

You may notice the pros hanging around , call me daft but i went with a group of friends last year and somebody had to point them out to me as i didnt notice but hey if your not looking for them why should you see them, they didnt come anywhere near our group, which was all male so my guess would be if you dont look for them you wont even know they are there.
Have fun, Kel
Thanks for all your replies, you have set my mind at ease! If anyone is going out this weekend, I'll be the one on my backside most the time or clinging onto my boyfriend for dear life! Went for a lesson last nite & to say the least, it didn't go too well... Nevermind, I keep telling myself, its gonna be so much better when I'm there so I'll just keep thinking positive, I'm too much of a negative person, thats my problem! Thanks again for all your help & views, hope you have a lovely ...
