The Rila is the hub of all activity on that side of the mountain, it's really nice inside, serves the best coffee off the 4-man and has shops and a ski depot. I think it's one of the better choices in the resort for proximity and amenity.

We took 6 beginners with us this year and they all had a great time, you'll be fine.

re: Hotel Rila, Borovets

Bex,
the place is cool. Me and my son stayed in the samovets( spelling?) last year and we wished we had chosen the rila.We swam in there, used the gym, bowling alley , shot pool and the friends we made that were staying there who spoke very highly of the Rila. I have just requested a quote to return in Feb with my two daughters, and I would not take them somewhere that was not suitable.

Enjoy bex ....and try not to let the nerves get the better....
