This can only be good for Bansko, Bulgaria and investors.
My first trip to Bansko this year revealed a horror site that was once (and still is) a National Heritage site and the 'so called' developers have turned it into a free-for-all Legoland.
Sell-on values and rental potential will be massively increased by this news and maybe some form of beauty can be restored in the town.
It also spells out a warning to the rest of the country that this behaviour of 'chuck 'em up anywhere' will ...

i first went to bansko 4 years ago and what a dream place it was but over the next 3 years it changed so much all the small shops had changed to estate agents they installed traffic lights and as you say last year was just a massive building site with heavy lorries on every corner replacing the girls of the night (joke) but then i will still return this season as i have made many friends there, lets just hope they do stick to what they say and save BANSKO or it could be ...
