Best stick to drinking then! Mind you, Im still not very good at that either. Watch out for the most wasted of the guys in the white tuxedos on New Years Eve - You will see what I mean!

went for the first time last year (in France).. mastered it for the first few days then it all went horribly wrong.. the fog cleared and I could see my way to the valley below (even though I had done this part several times!!) I panicked, started to cry, tears turned to convulsions, crystals starting appearing on my goggles -and ran in streams down my face and I was renamed fishbowel fin by my group.. couldn't get to grips with keeping my skis parellel again for 2 days but then felt ...

My tip is to get used to falling over.. don't think that because you haven't fallen that you can master any slope.. my biggest fear was that I was heading for the trees and couldn't stop!! PS just to let you know, the four hour lessons in Bulgaria are really really helpful.. we only had two hours in France and you really notice the difference (went later in the season (March 2003) to Bulgaria and had a far superior skiing experience)
Well my friends managed to master it within a day or so but I'm a bit more weary cos I've got dodgy knees, so after 4 years I'm getting there!! It's my mission to do good parralell turns this year!!!
But once you've tryed skiing you'll love it!!
