Welcome to the board Nick,

How much money, well I would sugest 400 pound clean crisp 20 pound notes. Any more and you can use ATM in the bank.

I was thinking £100 per person. PLus use of debit/credit cards if need be. Is this not enough? We're self catering so will be eating out a bit...

re: How much money to bring?

I'd suggest £50 a day would be okay for someone half board?

Why take any money? Just use the atm machines - it's so much simpler!
I don't really understand how people can ask for suggestions of how much money to take - it entirely depends on how much you're going to spend!
Beer is 1 to 5lv a pint. Average in a touristy bar probably 3.5lv. Drinks on the mountain 4lv in Ulen cafes. Food on the mountain 5-15lv.
If you decide to eat out a traditional main course ~12lv, steak ~20lv, Pizzas ~8lv.
Work out how much you'll spend from that!

Obviously these prices are vague guidelines, nothing more. Btw - 1 Euro = 1.95 lv.

re: How much money to bring?

Thanks Matt - based on those prices £30/day would be more than enough. I mean we could have a main course, a steak, a pizza and a couple of pints for £25 Cool

That's based on today's Yahoo & Google currency conversion rate of £1 buys 2.35LEV (or 1LEV buys 0.43p)
