The only good reason to buy property in there is because you would like to spend more and more time there as the years pass.
And the desire is more than probably because you like the people and their way of life.and in general liking the way the things are done in Bulgaria.
And that should be the prime consideration.
Some Brits like the idea of owning something abroad .Years ago they bought into Spain and Portugal for their own very good reasons and most of them because the cost of living was so relatively cheap there.
Sadly many found that there was more to living in a foreigh land than the cheap booze,food , cheap fake clothes and cigs.
So my advise is go there, stay there ,dont listen to anybody advise-it will be biased anyway, smell the place look under the surface, try to understand how things are done in there and if you fall in love with the place, do it.
Have you been to Portugal Mikey? I have a house there and I can assure you there is nothing cheap about it, property prices are not much cheaper than the UK. The cheap booze, food, fags and British lager louts are the very reason I sold up in Spain and moved to Portugal, Don't tar everone with the same brush.
