re: IS BORO SUCH A RIP OFF

I just wonder if the seemingly endless round of bad news stories is a symptom of bookings being down this season?

I think UK bookings were 40% down on the previous year - quoted in the press a month or two ago.

I might be hugely wrong but it cant be beyond the realms of possibility that seeing fewer punters in town has put a few bar owners into panic mode and forced them to chance their luck more often than they might otherwise do? Just food for thought no evidence for it.....

There were plenty of people there last week, actually was packed everywhere.

Waiting for the gondala took at least a hour and a half each morning and the runs were also very crowded.

Could be. We have to go in half term as have children and work in a school, so always more packed anyway I suppose.

Feb half term is the peak week in every ski resort. It would be in a really sorry mess if it were quiet in Boro that week! Very Happy

I think having to pay one Lev to have a pee at the top of the gondola is a bit crap after paying out for the lift pass that surely is "taking the piss" a bit to literally!
