Hi robthe musula path is now closed due to lack of snow,altho i did get down but the conditions were ice grit and dirt in many places.The top part is fine its when you get to about half way.

Just got back after 7 hour delay at Plodiv - took us 14 hrs to get back to Gatwick from Borovets was an absolute nightmare!!! I feel sorry for the people who turned up to Borovets at 0530 and had to get one or two hours sleep before hitting the slopes on their first day.re: In Boro now - Heatwave
On the last day the gondola closed at the mid station for half and hour so my fiancee and I and a few others who had queed for ages thought sod this well ski down. We went down a very muddy red run Yastrebets 1 and muddy Musala path down to Rila slopes.
Got to rila ski depot 1 at 1735 but they had to leave it open as so many were delayed.
We beat the couple down who were in front of us in the que.
The temps at the resort is very warm and very icy in the shade, up top on the last ...

U sure not the summertime?End of Feb first week in March was supposed to be the best for Borovets but that back fired this year!

Its a damn site lot colder in south of England then it is in Bulgaria!

Boro Rob - a pint of beer in london is c£4.50 = 11.25Lev can you confirm that this is the price of 1 beer in Boro?Also a meal for 2 in London or many other places in the UK is a good £30/head with a couple of drinks so £60 = 156Lev can you please confirm if your paying this much?
If so I suggest you go to Bansko where for that sort of money you could get 6 meals out not one.
Also beer in Boro must be 9 times the price of Beer in Bansko (and thats not taking the cheapest).
